About the project

Skills for a living that lasts all year

In many regions, jobs depend on the tourist season. The goal of this youth exchange was to improve entrepreneurship knowledge, skills and attitudes among young people from Romania, Hungary and Slovakia — empowering them to create their own job opportunities.

Participants explored entrepreneurship in a non-formal setting: market research, business planning, financial management, sustainable practices and negotiation strategies.

Entrepreneurial competences Days 3–8

The heart of the project: market research, business planning, financial management, sustainable practices and negotiation — all through hands-on, non-formal methods.

Venue

Mountain King guesthouse

Sâmbăta de Sus is a commune in Brașov county, about 70 km from the city of Brașov. We stayed at the “Mountain King” guesthouse in the heart of the village — away from crowded areas, with the fresh air of the nearby forest.

Participants shared rooms of four with private bathrooms; breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks were all served on site.
